Being the icon of Aesthetic Medicine in Malaysia, Dr. Tingsong Lim has been actively involved in academic research and training on Asian facial and body aesthetics, clinical application of fillers’ rheology, facial overfilled syndrome, pigmentary disorders, laser medicine and regenerative medicine.
He was one of the early few to hold the License of Credentialing and Privileging (LCP) under the Ministry of Health Malaysia to conduct aesthetic practices in Malaysia.
Graduated from Tohoku University School of Medicine under the Monbusho Scholarship, Dr Lim speaks 4 languages (English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, Japanese) fluently, and is a well-known figure regionally as well as internationally giving lectures in different languages in four corners of the world.
Being an innovator and critical thought leader, he has received several awards, including Best Abstract Award of 5 CC in Barcelona for “Facial Overfilled Syndrome”, Winner of Anti-aging & Beauty Trophy for Best Clinical cases in Non-invasive Body Reshaping as well as Best Clinical cases in Facial Rehabilitation (2017-2018).
He also came out with the “Target Specific Sandwich Technique” particularly encouraging restoration of natural looks using fillers and biostimulators. He is the Key Opinion Leader (KOL) for many companies, including and not limited to Merz Aesthetics, Allergan, Teoxane, Cynosure, Cutera, Cosmoprof, Viol and has been conducting many clinical trials at his practice. He also sits in the Advisory Board for many of these companies. He is the Scientific Directors for conferences such as ADAC, iSwam, FACE ASEAN, and heavily involved in many big aesthetic conferences worldwide. He also sits in the Board of Director in the International Society for Dermatologic & Aesthetic Surgery (ISDS).
