This course brings you facial anatomy teaching from a highly specialised expert in cadaveric dissection and aesthetic medicine; led by qualified anatomist and consultant plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon, Mr. Dalvi Humzah.
Split into a morning and afternoon session, this multi-award-winning training includes both educational theory through demonstration and presentations, alongside a practical workshop, aimed at those delivering facial aesthetic treatments.
The morning session features presentations and discussions on current anatomical literature, including developments related to all aspects of facial anatomy that are pertinent to clinicians practising non-surgical facial aesthetic medicine.
The afternoon session allows delegates the opportunity for practical, hands-on dissection of full face anatomy. It explores, in detail, the upper face (including the tear trough and peri-ocular anatomy), as well as the lower face and neck. Delegates will learn, through simulated soft tissue filler injections and thread insertion, correct product placement and appropriate injection techniques.
Unembalmed cadaveric tissue is used to expose each anatomical area, and Mr. Humzah will discuss technical considerations, in relation to the anatomy, for facial aesthetic treatment using non-surgical devices such as needles, blunt cannulae and threads.
